Last Thursday 26 May, inside the former Maddalena Church in Bergamo, Falegnameria Aresi presented the Meeting entitled: WOODEN FRAMES “A LONG-LASTING PHENOMENON”. The conference, organized by the Aresi family, took place in the exhibition space, currently dedicated to the “COMPOSED SPACES OF FRANCO NORMANNI” exhibition. Aresi, as technical sponsor of the event dedicated to the famous artist, created the wooden setup, a true expression of the company’s versatility in the use of this material. Participating in the Meeting as speakers were: Arch. Ilaria Mazzoleni, Dr. Roberto Aresi, the Arch. Laura Di Bella, Prof. Arch. Paolo Maria Farina and finally Eng. Giancarlo Aresi. After an introduction to the Normanni Exhibition by the Arch. Mazzoleni, topics of great interest related to the use of wood were subsequently discussed; the speakers led the participants through an interesting historical journey to the most modern and sophisticated application techniques linked to this material. Wood is in fact considered an indispensable element in the expression of contemporary beauty that has its roots in nature. The wooden window and door, like other products produced using this material, if designed with care and competence, will follow the same principles of durability as the raw material. Falegnameria Aresi, which has always been attentive to everything that wood represents in its various forms of use, also on this occasion presents itself as a sensitive interlocutor in the face of central themes, such as: respect for the environment and information for the correct use of wood. Heartfelt thanks to the Franco Normanni Artist Friends Association for the hospitality granted.
